Information for those who wish be educated on SD-CADS DepartmentHow to get to SD Department for education.You have the possibility to study on SD of NTUU 'KPI' (IASA) if you entered NTUU 'KPI' according to the rules of this year. For those who don't get the sufficient amount of points for the budget (for free), form of contract education exists (price per year is defined by University Administration of NTUU 'KPI'). If during several semesters you get only high marks at every session, you will be redirected to budget (free) places as soon as such possibility appears. We invite all the talented young people who are attracted by this modern interesting and useful specialty! Information technologies of design System Design Department (SD) provides training of Bachelors after specialty 'Computer Science', engineers and Masters after specialty 'Information technologies of design' (САD-САЕ). Sense of specialty is usage of modern computer technologies (mathematical modelling, electronic tables, graphic and text processors, data and knowledge bases, computer networks, expert systems and decision making systems, multimedia information technologies, information Internet recourses) at all stages of individual or collective optimization design and developing the new objects and processes, preparing constructor manuals and managing information for computer aided manufacturing. First stage of education (4 years) is finished by getting the Bachelor's diploma. Then it is possible to continue education after the Specialist's (1.5 years more) or Master's (2 years more) program.Specialists' training is being conducted after the following directions: - Computer design in information Internet environment; Department possibilities and functional duties: - Providing needs of organizations in multi-variant design of the complex technical objects (first and foremost, electronic systems or their element basis in the form of customized LSI); Specialists prepare for the scientific research, project and organizational activity in the field of using modern information technologies in designing multiple objects of artificial human environment and informatization of organizations functioning. Department graduates work in commercial banks, foreign companies missions, small and joint enterprises, the other commercial structures and in the state industrial sector. Department possesses well-equipped computer laboratories on the basis of personal computers, local computer network which is connected to Internet. Department has direct contacts with multiple foreign Universities and is the important scientific centre in the field of computer technologies. It collaborates with pioneering foreign companies (Intel), takes active part in the International technical and educational programs, in the work of UІCEE (Unesco of Engineering Education Centre) and ІGІP (European Association for Engineering Education). Department is headed by Anatoliy Ivanovych Petrenko, professor, Vice President of the Academy of Engineering Sciences of Ukraine, Academician of New York Academy of Sciences, certified engineer of England, Laureate of State Prize of Ukraine, D.E., Honoured Scientist of Ukraine.
